Mikanko just won a YCS! Meaning all 3 archetypes from Amazing Defenders have become champions! Is it one of the best sets of all time?

The Mikanko list is not what you think:
It's a decklist with Gen/Ken ; Triple Tactics Talents ; Diabellstar Renaud ; Isolde ; Acid Golem and Geotransverser

The idea going first is to, with basically every 2 card combo you have, makes a Geotransverser + Acid Golem with a Gen/Ken on the opposite side - to give your opponent an Acid Golem
What helps this deck a lot is that, if going 1st doesn't get fully stopped, it's an autowin button - and going 2nd it's Mikanko with TTT ; it can't be "bad"
Also, if you have out to acid golem (such as tribute summon or forbiden droplet) you can use TTT to hand rip your opponent
You also get the both effect of Gen & Ken in the combo

It was played at YCS Indy and went x-2 ; didn't top cut due to tiebreaker - it also only lost because the player, Ed, made several missplay (according to themselves) and could have gone undeafeted otherwise
All in all, a great meta call ; and I wouldn't be surprised to see more of it in the future ! :)

It should be mentioned that thw YCS has only 270 players, less then a quarter of most NA YCS events. Still amazing tho

Purrely and rescue ace aren't control decks, not even furniture lab, they're more of mid range decks

Mikanko is a pretty big combo deck?
I’m sorry are we thinking about the same Mikanko archetype?
I’ve never seen that deck go above 5 summons before OTKing with their bs effects.
Like sure they activated a good few spells but so does RA and Pur so calling Mikanko a combo deck is laughable
