Laura, this is a great video. Thank you. I do have a question, though...Can't seem to get the custom task content type to be recognized in the task designer. Any hints?

Laura-Could you put out a video that shows a step by step on how to create a workflow in either FLOW or designer that I can follow to set up a workflow that 1. sends an email to a group notifying them of an item to be worked 2. once the rep places their name in the assign to field, the status changes to In Process 3. send an email to the requester 4. sets the status to Pending 4. once the item has been approved to be processed set the item to complete 5 move the item as complete to a separate library, or preferably to the network on a specific drive. We don't have on prem sharepoint and we are basically working with an out of the box set up and we do NOT have visio. ANY help would be greatly appreciated, your videos are great I just haven't found one that deals with this specifically and I'm HOPING you can help. thank you!!

not so many changes in SPD 2013 compared to 2010 ... although Task Process Designer seems pretty interesting it's kind of a time space jump between the 2 SharePoint versions and it will probably be very difficult for a beginner to feel comfortable with it ...

Laura, I created a custom task using SPD 2013 workflow. Everything works out fine, except I could not link the list attachments in the task form. I got the data connection set up to the SP list, insert the hyperlinks to point the attachments but somehow it loads the wrong attachment. I think the list ID did not match but could not make it works. Hope I can get some help. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Laura. Great stuff. I'd just like to add a bit of constructive criticism. Just to make it a bit more engaging, you may want to set a context of a process first and then use the tutorial to describe how these settings\steps work towards achieving the process design. E.g. maybe its a simple document approval workflow, so start with a requestor sending a document for approval and then an approver receiving an email, reviews the document and approves it. Hope this helps.

I have one question, is there any way I can attached entire infopath form into the task list. So, when it send email to manager for approval they dont need to do visit two different pages, 1 for document and 2 for to approve/reject task.

Is there any way to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

When I do this it says to "Check to make sure this content type is applied to the workflow's task list."  How do I do that?
