This is my favorite Pink Floyd song ever, and this is their best live version of it.

Pink Floyd has been a part of my life journey every album as a part. At 67 I'm still rocking hard.

Love this version. The flute has a mystical Egyptian, snake charmer sound.
Very LSD!

Thank goodness I saw them do this in concert in '71... great experience

From 4:48 - 6:35 the Farfisa and guitar are simply amazing. With the equipment they had back in 1969, they created a fantastic little trip through space. From Rick's 30 second bridge to the interplay of the organ and guitar, incredible.

Ummagumma is a stellar album in every respect. The band at their most experimental and instrumental in their later success. I was just starting college in '69 when I first heard it, and truly there was nothing even close to its psychedelic brilliance at the time. The live LP certainly inspired me to go see them. Salem OR at a college venue. They opened with what would be 'Echoes' ... so the best of Meddle plus the gems included on Ummagumma ... I've never been to a better concert, except possibly seeing them again in '72 in Portland, where they did DSOTM 3 months prior to the LPs release, again featuring their best Meddle cuts and the pieces included on Live Ummagumma. Such brilliant composition and emotional musicianship from all involved. Two incredible concerts ... whoever is in second place isn't even close. When your hear the quiet passages in the recordings here, it isn't because the audience is being polite ... it's because they're awestruck. No one was ready to spoil the moment. "Set the Controls ... "

The whole live album is brilliant. As far as the studio album goes, I love the experimental vibe from everyone in the band and The Narrow Way is my favorite
