I’ve been struggling with insecurities about my weight and height, but this really stuck out to me because it made me realize that even though they may be a big deal to me, everyone else is dealing with something of their own and it’s not the end of the world and if I stay positive, I can get through it ❤

Love this Jess, as far as insecurities go I completely can relate. After I got married I gained weight. I got with my husband at 14 and married him at 20. I get so upset with myself thinking about my weight gain since my marriage but then I have to remember that we are not supposed to stay in our teenage body, our body evolves after our teenage years so weight gain is normal! I always have to remind myself of this.

I have to be honest, being someone who is waiting until marriage, my heart dropped when you said how much sex hurt for the first time. Kudos to you for waiting the 4 years until marriage! I waited until marriage as well. Had a 2.5 yr relationship with an ex and then a 4 month relationship before marriage with my now husband. In my 2.5 year relationship it was really frustrating at the time that he wasn’t ready to move forward in our relationship. It isn’t easy to wait, but it’s so worth it! The first time is ALWAYS a little scary especially for a girl but it is truly the safest place to be when its your life partner. I couldn’t imagine opening myself up to someone who hadn’t made a commitment to me-I think it would have added so much fear and unknowns.
