Have you ever heard of burčák?

It’s a Czech alcoholic drink that’s really popular in late summer and early fall

Burčák is essentially “young wine”

Meaning that it’s fermented grape juice but it hasn’t fully finished the process of becoming wine yet

It tastes very refreshing and is a bit fizzy

And it’s normally served in plastic cups or bottles

Plus it’s super cheap!

A full glass cost around 40czk ($1.70 US)

But that’s in Prague

I’m sure in other places around the Czech Republic it’s even less

If you ever get the chance I highly recommend trying it!

Don't go overboard with it - it has very lively yeast inside and if drunk in excess, can rip your digestive tract apart. Ask me how... I mean don't ask me. 😅

Delicious but dangerous. Burčák reminds a children's drink (something like a carbonated juice), but it is an alcoholic beverage. It's easy to drink 1, 5 or 2 litres. And this can rock your world.

Burčák, the wine that is mandatory to drink in Czech Republic or Slovakia on Saint Martin's Day, on November 11th! 😂🤣😅 Great video, SUPER!
