i actually got this issue just yesterday, exept on manjaro, and there were some problems with the libraries, so this video helped, the chroot command is very useful.

Thank you so much for posting this content, it really motivates me to keep using Linux, despite facing issues I've never faced before and gives me strength to keep trying to fix it, instead of taking the easier way and give up! Lets just note that normally you should not edit the grub.cfg file directly - instead, edit the grub file in /etc/default, and buil grub.cfg. Ofc, if it's an emergency, you may do it, but be aware, that your changes there probably wont last very long

I'm fully confident to fix almost any issue with Linux that I could encounter.
I would only be panic-stricken that one day dementia might seep in and made me forget one of the passphrases or whereabouts of keys to open the LUKS device of the full disk encryption of my laptop's hard disk drive.
But I guess if my mental health reached this stage I wouldn't know what to use my data for anyway.
