The world of Splatoon is seriously one of my favorites in all of gaming. There's just so much style and creativity packed into everything, and the hairstyles and music are perfect examples. Seeing how many hairstyles there are now compared to the original was a really cool graphic, and it shows how far this series has come. Also that tiny mohawk salmomid song was fire! Great video!

I honestly agree, but I also wish they used some of the other hairstyles in the concept art (mainly the unused octo expansion hairstyles) but yeah, the way hair works is so unique, and is something that always amazes me.

As someone who started with Splatoon 2 in like 2019, it's very bizarre to me that in splatoon 1, yall settled with either "girl cut" or "boy cut" and THAT'S IT. YOU GET 2, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.

What's really cute is the difference in facial expressions the inklings and octolings have, the octolings always just seem so much happier to finally be apart of it all

I think for inklings with cutting their hair, I think that once you cut it, a suction cup forms. Those hairstyles without suction cups probably just cut their hair more often to stop that process happening.

I heard of this theory where they mold their hair into different shapes with heat, and given the fact that there’s a hair dryer in the locker in salmon run, it feels like that’s what it is
