Enjoyed looking through several thousand cards to find everything in black and red that had 4 or more numbers in it for Baron Von Count. 14 cards have all 5 numbers on them so they're staples lol

5 color nivmizzet reborn RAVNICA BLOCKA ONLY (+Azor from ixalon) has to run 1 guild leader from each guild, each charm, each 2 color Fuse card, every guildgate, every shock (no fetches, they are not from ravnica), 1 non creature spell from each guild and 1 creature from every guild. Its beautiful

I had a Bant Knight tribal deck with Rafiq of the Many once. It only contained cards with unity, valor, honor or such things and every land had to have either a castle or tower (like a guard tower) in it. It was super fun when it worked.

I’ve had a Ravos/Tana Saproling Tribal deck sitting neglected on my shelf for a few years now, but their synergy together with the token-buffing backgrounds has convinced me to give it some love! Thanks for sharing this deck with us Joey :3

Love to see this and really highlights how many more of these "cares about commanders" cards we've gotten recently. I tried running an "Oops All Lieutenants" a few years back and struggled to make it work. Seeing this has me thinking I'll try something similar again!

The jank I’ve been working on the longest has got to be my Claim Your Bounty deck. The concept is basically using a lot of creatures that can somehow benefit my opponents if they die (Noble Benefactor, Grothama, etc), and then using protection and counter spells to keep them from getting the goods. If they figure out a way around it, they get the benefit! No real win-con, just a fun-con.

I am making a version this deck. I am brewing with Eleven and Mike. I am including the other friends that play Dungeons and Dragons. I am attempting to make the deck all fit a party going on an adventure. I am including cards with that cause Creatures to phase out or "go to the upside-down". I am including some enchantress cards to signify NPCs they may have met along the way. I know it won't be ultra tuned or crazy powerful, but it makes me smile. And to me that is what matters.

This is awesome. I had tossed this same idea around in my head for a while but never got around to it. Glad to see you enjoying it so much after CL2 added so much support for it.

I just created my first ever flavor themed commander - Satoru Umezawa, Metal Gear Solid themed based on the art by Yoji Shinkawa. I know that Satoru already has a stigma behind him and deck can be insanely strong, but I knew for this that I wanted a very powered down, high themed commander so I limited the cheating creatures to giant artifact creatures only (resembling the metal gear). I originally stuffed the deck with a ton of on theme cards such as Evil Twin, You see a guard approach and even a Sword for the MGR theme, but I noticed very early on that the deck wouldn’t work and just do nothing so I had to go back to the drawing board and I eventually cut some of the flavor for function to make the deck gel and flow a bit better.



While the deck isn’t as 100% on flavor like the “commander” commander deck is, it’s still very stacked to the brim with flavor cards and considering this was my first time brewing an edh deck from scratch, I’m extremely happy with the result and am glad I got to do it. Also the deck is a blast to play!

What an awesome list! I love a good thematic build myself, probably my favorites have been my trio of "Alliteration Tribal" decks, featuring your boys Virtus the Veiled & Gorm the Great, Bell Borca Spectral Sergeant, and Svyelun of Sea and Sky.

I did a fox tribal deck for fun. It works? But its still fun! The commander for is was the one the only 8.5 tails. Is 100% jank af but its super funny to see my opponents laugh seeing artic foxes come down with my commander
