"I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who supports a food bank." No one disputes the decency of people who run and support foodbanks, but the fact that we have to have them is a national disgrace, brought on by this disgusting government.

He’s already checked out and thinking of his Californian mansion and his tax free lifestyle. Not sure why he even bothered showing up.

The fact we are the 5th richest economy in the world and we have food banks should be a national embarrassment and the government should be ashamed that they have let things get this bad

Look at Sunak casually drinking his coffee nonchalantly as the caller is making a heartfelt cry about the existence of food banks! It says it all. His actions belie his words. He has no idea about the real world AND he’s not bothered!

The way he drinks his tea nonchalantly while she goes through the stats says it all

His children will be growing up in America, so no national service then.

So in one he is saying that doctors and nurses asking for a pay rise are wrong, yet at the same time his solution for foodbanks is individuals getting higher paying jobs.

Just remember, every time a tory says 'cut taxes' they mean 'cut services'.

Wow. This guy has to be even less self-aware than even Boris Johnson. A genuine national embarrassment.

The guy could literally feed every family dependent on food banks and not even notice a dent in his wealth.
That would be something.

Makes no sense a multi multi hundred millionaire wants a 130k job

He's obviously in the job for back room dealings and dishonest reasons
