Love your product, my dually has been turned into a towing BEAST with you're turbo.

I think customers snap shafts with a torque wrench because there are so many posts with misinformation on the internet giving torque specs that are way too high.

Interesting he mentions that this impeller with threads can tighten, when running, witch means the balance will change. Turbine and shaft, , and also impellers are balanced on their own to 40, 000 rpm on a Shneck balancer. Some shops like to balance the assembly, extra cash flow, is it needed, not likely.

Not exactly a how-to but good info I suppose. Just got mine, did not come with a blue mark on the wheel just one on the shaft.
Can’t find install instructions anywhere and KC’s website under instructions navigated me here. Not one instruction except how to line up the marks (which mine doesn’t have)

Not sure how I reseal the turbo or install the bearings either…. Would love a full disassembly and reassembly video from KC for the 7.3l

Have you guys ever thought about making a ported compressor housings for the stock gt38? I know that the aftermarket drop in wheels still surge.

If the wheel will tighten up while the turbo is spinning wouldn't it then be off your marks and then out of balance?

Do you have any videos of turbo install on a OBS

Sounds like the customers are snapping those shafts because they’re reverse threads
