I had a fun vision of some future archeologists finding this and wasting years trying to unravel the language. Lol

Bro other than your impressive work, your glue supply is by far superior to anything I have ever seen before. This include wood working stores!

Where'd you get the inlay wood, stencil, and router collar?

It actually says “waste of time” in Ojibwe.

This looks really pretty. I wonder how you could make this into something with the top being a feature.

I've never thought about using any other shape than a bowtie, that's pretty cool though

I like how precise he was with the guard after setting it on something he just chucked down

А зачем такие манипуляции над треснувшим поленом ? Из него можно сделать Буратину 2022 ?

Looks like you are running short on glue. Time to restock. Awesome shop by the way. Must be great to have all those tools just waiting to make stuff.

The sound of you hammering the wood pieces in fast forward is so satisfying

Several things from the owner of a log home:
1. Checks in wood like that do not affect the structural integrity of the piece despite how they look.
2. They never go all the way through the piece.
3. They all form within the first 12 months of milling and drying.
4. .Once they form they never open up any more as they age.
5. There’s no need to “repair” them with a Dutchman, glue or anything, they add a lot character to a home.

I like the idea of filling those cracks with a nice color of resin or somethink like that. Black resin would look pretty good along with staining, especially if you filled every crack on a table with it.

This looks more like awesome art than stabilizing wood. Nice!

When your kids are homeschooled and you’re too cheap to buy them regular pegs and holes to push them through for their nature studies course work.
