They call moon photos fake, while they upload selfies with tons of filters. 😂

People are mad. Personally I don't care if AI enhances the images. I always use Moon pictures to beat my friends that have iPhones so I like that they make the images better.

Almost every professional photo out there has been optimized, color corrected, sharpened, enhanced etc. That our smart phones can do this automatically and nearly instantly is amazing.

The guy might be the cover agent employed by Apple to find fault in Samsung Camera capability

People shouldn't care. It's just there. I noticed it the first time I took a moon picture with my S22. I only wish popular tech YouTubers had noticed this and acknowledged it. That's the only thing that
bothered me, that everyone was denying it.

I couldn't agree more, somehow people are never happy with the results, I don't mind the scene optimizer, I like the added contrast and punchy colors off Samsung phones, when I take a moonshot it's clear that it takes a couple seconds then it sharpens everything, even in regular photos, what's wrong with that ?

I've been taking moon photos with my s22 ultra since the day I got it. Obv the AI is going to do what it's designed to do I don't see how the phone can "fake" the moon

People will say anything to make Samsung look bad.

idk what everyone is on about. 🤷‍♂️ Totally agree with you on this! If you turn AI scene optimizer off, you get a normal shot.

Samsung needs to use software processing because a phone's small sensor simply isn't powerful enough to get those RAW details.

Great video! 🔥

AI is NOT photography. Professional cameras don't have AI, although you can enhance it in software applications. But if AI manipulated the original photo, it will be FAKE.

If the moon is fake, then other photos taken are also fake, not only the moon. So I took a photo of my friend far away, enhanced, so it's my fake friend now.

People are calling AI enchanted image fake as if there's anything real from their selfie lmao. You guys need RAW image if you want REAL photo LMAO

That chinese leakster ice universe is just being jealous. Getting a good picture with the help of AI dosent mean its fake and leave the moonshot other 100x images too are enhanced with the AI and gives a decent resolution image acc. To 100x. I just dont get it why people are being mad over getting a good picture and getting a capability to zoom at this level just with a phone. I love having this much zoom in my s21u and i love playing with it.

that is how Mobile Photography is, it is fake and controlled by AI.

It has been such for a long time.

Phones DETECT FACES, HAIR COLORS, EYE COLOR, SKIN COLOR, then remove blemishes or sometimes even add a bit of skin and hair texture too, for men with facial hair, they add the hair texture to enhance the sharpness too.
This is VERY PROMINENT in "NIGHT SHOTS" of every phone, there is no way it gets that many details of from a person's face in dark.

They detect skies, landscape, etc too
and then add the enhancement accordingly

so the logic of it not enhancing the HALF MOON doesn't apply here cause it did not detect a moon.

don't like it ? start using mirrorless or dslr for your selfies and other needs, lol.

or just use the pro mode and turn off the scene optimizer you will get the normal photo

It would be also interesting to compare the camera during the years because I think they can make it worse by software to make you buy the new one

I have a really old 16x Zoom Canon camera and it takes way better pictures of the moon than my S23U with 10x optical zoom, I don't think they are fake. And I shot the moon in daylight at 200MP with the main sensor and it has a lot of detail.

The thing is Samsung marketing made it look like it's the sensors. They didn't mention anything about AI helping.

everyone forgot the S23 Ultra wiped the floor with every smartphone to date but oh no, we should focus on the false allegations and moon shots 🙃🔫

This is a perfect example that people do not do enough research

So the only way to get this kind of moon pics is by purposefully having AI enhancement turned on, which functionality is blatantly described in the name of the setting? What is the deceitful part exactly?
