It is good that you are showing a way for those that can't keep plants inside their tanks to have the benefits of plants (outside) their tanks (besides pothos, monsterra, etc). I am looking forward to when this product is available to maybe add to my already heavily planted 40 breeder to grow algae in it.

It's like saltwater meets freshwater. Keep us posted on how it affects the nitrate on that size tank considering its smaller than your big sump.

Good job with this video Kev! Easy to understand. I like the Refugium model you used because i like the easy assemble, the clear glass..and its quiet. If I dont find a HOB Refugium locally that I like...I'll wait to order one through you. Im going to check the measurements. That blade light is nice. I like the purple lighting. Nice for you to have all your lights controlled through an app. I really like the thought of less frequent water changes with a Refugium. Looking forward to trying one out on my tank's! hey man, just watched your "better way to change water" vid and this one. you have a new sub! this is all BRAND NEW info. i've not seen anyone talk about EITHER of those too things, which is insane. first time hearing about a refugium AND to see plants in a sump. HOW? and i watch a fair amount of fish'tube.

great delivery of the info, nice and to the point without faffing around or doing needless intros. makes it infinitely watchable and i like your whole demeanor and stuff too. (that bamboo tank is SICK! love how they move around in that one, really breaks the wall with how it's designed and almost makes you think of real enviros that might look like that with them swimming around in it. arrowanas are tight. HUGE but tight. neat to see 'em in a massive tank. can't imagine keeping up with all these. doin' good, brother.

Amen! Fish get more than just o2 from their environment, they rely on the water column for elements and minerals too, plus who wants their fish breathing their own toilet water for too too long

Bought the Aqua ready, it's awesome! My levels have improved, and it's already a mature 4 year old tank!
