This is CS50, Harvard University's introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming. Demanding, but definitely doable. Social, but educational. A focused topic, but broadly applicable skills. CS50 is the quintessential Harvard course.

"There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary and those who don't".
I finally understand what that joke means.

Jesus Christ, I've studied at the best computer science college in Romania and none of my taechers even ever came close to this level, we NEED more teachers like this, teachers that literally make you pause gaming and start studying.

Imagine a teacher using a piano in the class just for the sake of an example, that's pure dedication

Thank You Sir. I'm from India, was googling for beginners Python course. I found a Quora answer, that first learn basics i.e CS50. I did not knew about CS50 earlier. I listened to complete Lecture. Thanks for elaborating on the 0s and 1s and ASCII, Unicode etc. This made me aware of the History, foundation and roots of computer science. :-)

I’ve never seen someone as passionate about teaching as David J Malan. This course would’ve been twice as hard without his energy and teaching skills, thank you David! I’m in week 4 rn, Spaniard here🙌🏻
