I never knew this about Lee Marvin making this claim. It had to put Keeshin in between a rock and a hard place. Bob probably didn't want to make Marvin look bad by denying the story so he simply kept quiet about it.

My grandfather fought with the fourth Marines on Iwo Jima, he knew Lee Marvin personally, and Lee Marvin never stepped foot on that beach.

As a kid I never like Mr. Rogers. This was our go to guy. I hear that Studio 54 was his old studio.

And then sadly we had to grow up. 😢 And had become the very thing we hated about adults.

That's not Bob Keeshan in some of those pictures, but Lee Marvin. Why do they keep making these mistakes? Mr. Rogers wasn't a Navy SEAL, either; I'm not sure how that UL got started.

That's Captain Kangaroo in military uniform??? I'm not sure. Bob Keeshan looks more like Lee Marvin in the military pictures.
