As a Mexican can 100% relate to the verbal abuse 😂

So true. It actually gets to the extent where someone is really complementing you and you don't know how to respond to that and it gets real awkward 😂

LOVE this guy! His timing is perfect, his impersonations of his parents, the way he takes mundane everyday Asian [and other] life and make is funny! I hope someday he becomes rich and famous, he deserves it and has so much talent. Really like him.

Apparently, mexicans and chinese have a lot in common. I’m mexican and my parents have NEVER said something like that in their life. You can graduate with honors in the greatest hardest school on Earth and mexican parents be like “well studying is your only job right now, you want us to congratulate you?”

Haha Asian parents are....
My parents told me that they were the only ones who will be honest with me. Everyone else is just trying to be nice and/or make me feel better so that I'll just keep embarrassing myself.
So now Im suspicious of any compliments and am nervous around people who are nice to me.
I just...cannot even my upbringing sometimes.
