Lasting impressions was such a wonderful episode! I fell in love with Gordon in that one, (I already loved Leighton, so no prob on that front ;) and to hear him sing it's song again is such a bittersweet moment.
Somehow I wish Gordon can meet someone who's related to Laura in "his" future.
So he and we all get to know what happened to her and her relatives.

Im hoping a new person comes on the Orville and its someone that looks like Laura, acts like laura and loves Gordon like Laura did in this episode, just in his time... like a Descendant maybe. I hope they revisit this episode and what happened to Gordon in that other timeline. I feel like it was way too easy to just have him forgive his best friend and captain for ripping him away from his wife and children, even if it was in another timeline.
