✨Signals✨ (a Button Collage)

An animated button collage I made using 50+ smokey pearl buttons I collected from the 1800s. These buttons were hand-carved back in the day, and no two are identical. These abalone buttons, made from freshwater mollusks, have a radiant quicksilver quality, especially when turned toward light.

The buttons encapsulate the concept of glimmering, so I crafted this animated artwork (I call it a button collage) as part of @useglimmer's Creator Collaboration Series. Glimmer supported whatever piece of art I wanted to make in the best possible way.
