Russian Podcast that you CAN understand | About me and this podcast | Episode 001

This is the first episode of our Comprehensible Russian Podcast! Today I'm going to talk about myself, this Russian podcast and its idea. I hope you'll enjoy the show! :)

This podcast is for learning Russian for A2-B1 students (approximately). My goal is to get you involved in the Russian language through interesting, fun, educational, and controversial topics. I speak clear and slow, explaining words in Russian to build your strong Russian foundation and help you on your way to understand real Russian (TV-shows, movies, podcasts, etc).

P.S. Many episodes were recorded years ago and, of course, some of my views to certain things has changed since then. Do not be surprized:)

Excellent, I actually understand it :-) I am in my sixties and promised myself to learn a few new languages now that I am retired. I already mastered more or less 8 languages but a couple of years ago I started with Russian, Greek en Romanian on Duolingo and that works well to start with but what then....so I was very glad to find your videos. Russian is really one of my favorite languages and that is also thanks to your videos (and Russian from afar as well).

Comprehensible content is a very good idea, and very useful. I'm at a level where I start to recognize quite some words, but I keep on forgetting their meaning. I appreciate that it is on Youtube now because it is the only social media platform I use.

Hello Max. I'm from Guayaquil, Ecuador in South America. Thnak you for this podcast. Here there are no schools or universities to learn Russian...🤷‍♂️. Why do i want to learn russian? Just because i like it. To put it this way...i would rather learn russian than german or mandarin.
