I've always loved Sunbonnet Sue since I first saw her, at the age of 11 years old.
I'm blessed to have an antique, hand sown, lightweight, Sunbonnet Sue spread.
It wasn't made with a batting inside of the spread.
It's made from old faded flour sak material, for the background.
Each block has a cute unbrella in her hand.
It's very sweet.
I can't wait to see you show us all, how to make a Sunbonnet Sue.❤❤

I worked in a quilt shop in the 70's and the quilting club decided each make a demise of Sun Bonnet Sue block. It was splendid!
