Way back in the 1980’s I made a Sun Bonnet Sue and Overall Sam queen size quilt. That was before rotary cutters and all the other notions we use today. I also hand quilted it. I still remember my grandma’s Sun Bonnet quilt made from feed sacks. Believe that’s why I still have so many feed sacks I think of the hard times of past years making do with what they had. Thanks for the inspiring help you offer with your tutorials 😊

I really enjoy all your videos! I love “Sue”!! I made a Sunbonnet Sue baby quilt for my sister’s 1st great granddaughter, now there is a little brother coming in January. Do you know of a “Sam” pattern with various depictions of him? Farmer, baseball, etc? The ladies who made Sunbonnet Sue are so creative, I’m not! Thank you for the calm informative videos!
