TOP TIP FOR EQ 👀

This is my top tip for using EQ when you're mixing or mastering 👇🏻

When you're mixing, it's okay to use sh*t loads of EQ as you might be trying to get a sound that works

But when you're mastering, only use small amounts of EQ

Everything is already loud by the time it gets the the mastering stage and even 1dB can make a massive difference

In mastering, if you're adding or taking away more than 2dB, it's probably a problem with the mix
