So I'm the only one tuning half neck bc my guitar is busted and has a full step of error from the 0th-12th fret?

No i don't have money to fix it, also I'm using a g string as a D which by itself sounds amazing but with everything else is almost unbearable

Anyway, i sound like shit and my musical hearing has probably been affected, but trying to fix it by avoiding the D string and thus having to explore the neck has helped me gain an intuitive notion of fretting shapes(i refuse to study theory even if paid well for it) and that's also helped me with fluency in improvisation, not original soloing, but more like playing the vocals as individual notes and improvising solos and riffs i already know or have enough repetition so that i can catch up with it before it ends


Wish i had money to fix it tho, open strings don't work at all(they're almost half a step down) and action's too high, makes my 0.08 gauge feel as hard as a 0.15
