For newer models that have a different display, try going to "Additional settings" then "Options" on the machine and then select "Signal", then adjust volume from there. That just worked for me.

What’s a signal marker??!! Our panel looks different. This is the MOST frustrating thing. I’m clearly old - there used to be a “sound on/off” button!!!

If you have a lg sensor dry dle34000w these instructions and the ones on the website will not work. to turn off sound you need to.
1. turn on power.
2. hold dry level for 3 seconds. It will beep twice like in the video. The panel will not light up, two dashes will appear in the selction display box.
3. Turn the knob to pick a dry setting.
4. power off. If it has worked, no sounds will happen.

LG should just make an actual button labeled sound that toggles on and off. There is no reason to make it so complicated.

My model F14AW7S you had to press temp and delay end/child lock button for 3 sec to turn chime/sounds off

My LG washer is only 2 years old. This has been very difficult for us to get the Chime back. It was working great than just stopped. Video is not helpful for us at all!

What about on the LG Wash Tower ? It says it can be done on the app but i cant figure it out !

Not on my lg front loader it isn't. You have to press and hold the time delay button for 3 seconds. There are no "signal" buttons.

A lot of people use their washing machine at night while they sleep because of noise pollution and cheaper electricity. What idiot came up with a song when the wash over. Music for washing machines should be an opt in feature not opt out.

Oh. But turning of the signal will turn off all signals eh? I just wanted to turn off the beeping that happens when I'm selecting my load options :(

I have F82691WH Direct Drive. None of these suggestions help at all....we must have accidentally turned off the chimes, now i cant get them to come back on... HELP. I love my chimes.
