I have a question, in case 3 when u got all the terms to cosx why didnt u used the substitution rule?

MAM MAAN LO MERE PASS EK FUNCTION HAI f(x) = X² -4 / x+3 ..ab hame limits x tends to 3 nikalna hai....toh jab hum bolte hai 3 se thoda bada, ... maan lo toh iska matlab hai x ka value f(x) = x² -4 /x+3 me x² me bhi rakhte hai or denominator x me bhi same manta hu ki hum kabhi bhi aisa solve karte time put nahi karte but maan lo hum x ka wahi value maane to Wahi rakhenge naa to limiting value same aayegi naa ????
Edit Ye doubt limits chapter se hai....is video se nahi.... please bataiye🙏🙏🙏🙏
