Hikvision GUI 4.0 Turn Off HDD Error Beep

(Log in to the recorder if required)
- Click on "System" at the top (looks like a cog)
- Click on "Event" and "Normal Event" on the left
- Click on "Exception" from the options at the top
- Under "Exception type" choose "HDD Error"
- Untick the box that says "Audible Warning"
- Click "Apply"
- Under "Exception type" choose "Record Exception"
- Untick the box that says "Audible Warning"
- Click "Apply"
NOTE: REMEMBER TO TURN "AUDIBLE WARNING" BACK ON FOR BOTH THESE OPTIONS ONCE THE CURRENT HDD ISSUE IS FIXED - OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT GET THE BEEP NEXT TIME THERE IS A HDD FAULT
