Hikvision GUI 4.0 Set Recording Expire Time

(Log in if required)
- Click on the "Storage" menu along the top (looks like a cylinder)
- Under the "Schedule" then "Record" section on the left, Choose the desired camera from the dropdown list at the top of the page
- Click the button that says "Advanced" on the right
- Next to "Expired Time (day):" you can enter the number of days you want recording on that camera to be kept for (When it is set to the default which is 0 - the recording will just overwrite when the HDD is full)
- Click "OK"
- Click "Apply" at the bottom
If you want to apply the same settings to all cameras:
- Click "Copy to" at the bottom
- Tick the boxes that say "Analog" and "IP Camera" so that all cameras are ticked
- Click "OK"
- Click "Apply" at the bottom
