How much do you know about weather, airspace, aerodynamics, and flight planning? You’ll find out in this popular webinar format. The pilots at Sporty’s will present 20 questions on a variety of topics, let you answer on screen, then explain the correct answer and discuss the implications. A little competition is always fun, but we’ll also share plenty of valuable tips for safer flying. It’s a great way to review important topics and learn some interesting trivia too.

These quizzes are great! Please bring them back for 2024 exam takers. I really appreciate how you complement the answers explanation with real-life scenarios and personal experiences. Thank you!

Love these study sessions! Keep them coming. Don't have the finances to actually take flying lessons yet, but in the meantime I'll continue to study these ground school lessons.

This was outstanding. Good even for a 25 year CFI to brush up…and to listen to other teaching styles.

I got 75% I’m working and improving. I just subscribed and I’m loving it! I’m taking ground school next month and I’m planning to do that and your program at the same time!

In reference to question 10…
It’s been a while since I went over airspace in detail, but my understating is that this airport would be located inside class G airspace unless it’s within a Victor airway (class E) which extends 4nm from the centerline and begins at 1200 AGL putting this airport inside class E at 11000 MSL as based on the sector tick marks it’s located within the 4nm corridor

I am still in the Wiz wheel phase / Charts to calculate. Good to know how to do it with the math and chart so that you understand. Then use Foreflight. You appreciate it so much more having it calculated already for you.

If a 100 hour inspection is due at the 100 hour mark regardless of when the inspection is done, how did the inspection time change from 100, 200, 300 hour etc to an odd number?
