everybody saying RS is unreliable is an idiot, only reason head gaskets blew on them was the 2016 models because the head gasket they used was for a lincoln and had an extra hole hence the gasket failure other than that its bulletproof just like the ST🤝

Couple things here. It always amazes to read these comments because it’s a clear indicator that most people are paper race car drivers and haven’t seen the cars their talking about actually race. All these paper race car drivers overlook a vital spec which is wheel power to weight. Evo, RS, STi and Golf R are not that fast from the factory especially the STi and Evo (both extremely outdated). In fact these cars are barely quicker than their little brothers ST, GTi and WRX, usually these cars with smaller turbos actually get a jump in races because they have smaller turbos that spool faster. With that said, keep in mind that the ST and GTi are much lighter than the AWD cars and have less power loss to the wheels since it’s FWD. I encourage everyone to look at a torque curve on the ST and GTi. Yeah stock STs/GTi do beat stock Evos and a mediocre driver in an STi and ST keeps up with the RS till 3rd gear. Anyhow, you’re not paying a $10k premium to go faster in a straight line your paying for better suspension and braking with a slightly more lively power train, this is evident in a WRX vs STi comparison. Again, these cars are raced all the time but in reality they’re not really straight line cars. If you want to be fast in a straight line build a light weight Honda or buy a Turbo Busa.

I'm surprised there's no videos of 500+ HP Focus RS doing street videos. Theres many Mountune Engine crates that are pushing 500-600whp and there's no video out there street racing and testing the car in the streets.
All the ones I see pushing over 500hp are garaged kept or they just do VLOGs of them driving but showing no street kills.

My 2016 FBO E30 Focus ST is a blast...that E really makes a big difference. AWD's got me from a dig but those 40 rolls got me surprising a hell of a lot of higher powered cars. Any mods on the X?
