Whoever did her eyeliner really nailed it

She looks so feminine and masculine at the same time. Her style and mannerisms are masculine, but her features look feminine. Such a beautiful balance

The black eyeliner in the waterline makes her eyes look soo awesome.

I really apprricate her saying this. I think our ideas of masculinity and femininity are too narrow

I was a Tomboy when I was little and then grew into wearing dresses but I still wear sweatpants and have masculine energy during the day lol. We can do both!! All people can ❤she is gorgeous

People don't seem to understand that we have both of these energies. One does not need to overcome the other. It shouldn't matter what your gender is. It's about balance. It really is that simple?

I had a similar experience. Billie really opened my younger self’s eyes to accepting the fact that I like masculine things. And then I realized earlier this year that I’m also allowed to like feminine things like makeup and skirts.

She is a beautiful young woman. Whenever she tries something feminine it really suits her.

I’m a cishet dude who tends to lean toward more feminine behaviors (being very sensitive to other people’s emotions, being a caregiver, etc) and color palettes (I’m about that pink and purple all day, as well as “cotton Candy, ” but also wacky colors) and it has not been and easy life. Someone of Billie’s status has so many eyes on her and everyone has something to say, so she’s dealing with it 24/7. We’re at the point where this shouldn’t be an issue and I have so much faith in Gen Z to turn it around; no one has had the determination and political power that y’all have.

I think people are trying to label things too much. I’m a woman. But my identity is not wrapped up in femininity or woman - ness. I don’t even think about myself being a woman. I am a woman. Turns out I’m a pretty big feminist. But I just live my life. I do what I want to do. I dress how I want to dress. I don’t spend any time thinking about my gender. I am just me. and you all should be whoever you are. You don’t have to put a label like masculinity or femininity. It’s just being. Being yourself. Whatever that is for you. Be happy.

I think as young girls a lot of us have a lot of internalized sexism. I used to feel embarrassed to wear or do anything too “girly” and thought being one with the boys was the coolest thing.

I love her balance! I'm going through the same thing!

It's so sad that we've divided the sexes to the point that ppl can't be themselves...

Anyone can dress any way they would like dress... It's called individuality ☺️

This is what being a real woman is.... Balance every aspect of yourself without slapping a label on it or allowing people to label you.... Be you

I love this sentiment so much. I'm around her age, 22, and it's so cool hearing so many of her self-explorative thoughts overlap with my own.

I just got a skirt to wear at school for the first time and waiting for it to arrive❤

I understand it so well, I’ve always been masculine too.

Freaking love this. I don’t know her music all that well, but I love her self-awareness. Love she doesn’t try to paint herself into any box. She knows we are infinite. Capable of the extraordinary.
