Love my 694 GMK Special edition 31". Has carried me to AA scores and almost made the England skeet squad, missed out by 3 points out of 400 in making it. Gun is amazing

I just ended up picking up a 690 Black. Dealer still had brand new one. Picked it up and fits like a glove. So had to take it.

You forgot to mention the outlier of the 690 series, the Ultraleggero. It is now based on the 690 action and and features the barrel tech of the 694 barrels (80mm forcing cone) and Optima HP chokes. What is really interesting is that a 20 gauge version with 76mm barrels is listed in the Beretta catalog. Note the product code is A4W38P3P300281. As someone old enough to have zero interest in another 12 gauge the thought of a 6 1/2 lbs 20 gauge is extremely interesting.

I have a 691 adj sporting and its a great gun. However mine never had the rubber coated top lever and the adjustable system is the factory B fast system which I hate.

690 range was a step in the right direction with stock diamentions and balance of the guns, beretta has gone backwards with the 680 again, I've gone to mirouki now and I'll never look back

My 690 black tends to shoot 80%left 20 %right, is there anything I can do to make shoot in the center.

Beretta- takes a 686 fits a couple of larger screws to trigger plate, slaps a fancy name on cold forged barrels, tarts it up doubles the price and viola....
Beretta are good guns, but dollar to dollar they are nowhere near the top of bang for buck
