I had this disease, and my own primary care doctor refused to diagnose it, because he said that I was "too young" to have the disease! My symptoms were very evident. I had to seek medical help from someone else, and boom, my diagnosis was made and I had to undergo surgery. The surgeon told me that I also had hypothyroidism due to the adenoma pushing on my thyroid! I had all the classic symptoms of that disease as well. The minute I awoke from the procedure, my levels were all normal again. I had been ill for years and was headed towards damage to my kidneys, heart, bones. I've undergone PTH testing for years since and it's been normal.

Thanks, helps me understand why my endo is giving me mega doses of vitamin D even though my levels of D are not low. PTH is gradually coming down a bit. Thanks also for your calm voice with no bells and whistles.

Thanks alot very informative, very helpful . Your videos about hyperthyroidism and hyperparathyroidism were the most helpful for me to understand what endocrinology doctors are trying to tell me, but until now they aren't sure what's the reason of my low TSH level and nodules .

Wow I've learned so much in this short video. I was diagnosed with secondary hyperpara as a result of a complete TT removal. Endo has struggled to balance me out and Drs. struggle to balance both my hypo thyroid state as a result of the TT and hyper para as a 2ndary state. Hypercalcemia really affected my teeth and made my bone density weak and brittle yet many dentist don't familiarize themselves with treatment towards thyroid disorders in patients
