Saddest part is that at the end of his story in A1 he doesn't even find out what his purpose of protecting the master emerald is

Me too knuckles been my favorite for a long time  he deserves his respect and hugs and cuddle he is awesome and badass
And it is not his fault be ben trick by Eggman since he been on angel island for a long time with nobody else no friends and just guard the master emerald or anything I wish poeple can stop  Criticize call him stupid and dumb he isn't any of that he is smart as well

And beside it is the writers who made him dumb in the 1st place they should made his characteristics better but no I am happy he get his respect and redemption and I happy they are still knuckles fans out they the love the red echidna that we know and love
