I’m already obsessed with your content. I’ve always been a container gardener at apartments. Last year I settled in a home and built a 3x8 raised bed and 2 small 2x2 beds that I created a cattle panel arch between. I’ve started my winter sowing already. So excited for this next year!!!

Try adding red Russian kale to your greens stash. I live in south Louisiana where it freezes and 110 degree humid heat and I’ve had just one plant make it through two years! I even let the caterpillars eat it all spring till it was just a stalk 3 different life cycles of butterflies and the thing is still goin! Harvested a few young leaves today, no bitterness or nothin! Lettuce is so finicky I plant what I can but they love to bolt, so I use the bolted ones as seed farming and make micro greens with em(:

Do you save seeds from your plantings? It is the best method to promote healthy plants for next year, it is not just for annuals if you have perennials too just check them in the fall. Another way to propagate your perennials is to remove some plants (tiny ones) and you will have great plants fully rooted! If you wanted to fill in a perennial bed dividing plants like hostas you will have beautiful plants in the spring. I just realized I forgot to mention you need to plant all of the divided plants. Good Gardening🎉

Slugs got to my grow bags! I guess it depends on the location.

Hey!! Beautiful garden you have there! I actually work for a greenhouse that grows commercial snapdragons & they are a semi~perennial. You can get them to come back next year. ❤

Ugh, slugs are the worst! I loathe them. They get the salt treatment when I find a cluster of them! Last year I put little cups of beer out and that also worked well.

“Harvest for months to come” the lettuce changes flavor and becomes more buttery the older and more you continually harvest. You’ll want to swap it out after a few harvests

I’m curious as to how the garden beds do under the pine 🌲 known in my area for sad, dead spots
