I’m 16 & Have The World’s Longest Legs | BORN DIFFERENT

A TOWERING teenager from Texas is about to strut her way into the record books as the proud owner of the world’s longest legs. Aged only 16, Maci Currin, from Austin, Texas, has legs measuring an incredible 53 inches - smashing the previous record of 52.2 inches held by Ekaterina Lisina, of Russia. The 6ft 9in aspiring model was only 19 inches when born, but a series of growth spurts meant she rocketed to 5ft 7in by the time she was nine years old. Maci also has an inseam of 43 inches and has to stoop to avoid banging her head when walking through doors, but says she is proud of her lengthy limbs despite the added attention they bring.

"She hates to shop". I am a guy who's 6'4 and while not as tall as your daughter I ( and every tall person) know exactly how she feels. "Sorry we don't carry anything past size 12 shoes", "Sorry 28 length is the longest we have". I once had a woman at a shoe shop who was an absolute saint. She tore the back room apart at her store trying to find a size 14 of converse for me. I think I might be a bit bitter but I have often found the following to be true.

I would love to be taller, she is stunning & absolutely gorgeous but I understand the clothing hardships & getting into cars definitely! Maybe a future in WNBA or modeling who knows? Her sky has no limits!

I’m 6’1” (185 cm) and cis female. I got so much 💩 in school for being this tall. I was 6’0” at age 12. It’s a lot harder to be a tall woman than a tall man. My husband is 6’7” and people don’t look at him funny like they look at me. I still get stared at. I always scare the other women when I’m in a public bathroom. The bright side is no one messes with me anymore now that I’m older. I would like to tell people that God made me like this and there’s nothing I can do about it. I didn’t ask to look like this. This young woman is cute and skinny so she’s got that going for her. I’m not cute or skinny. I still feel for her. It’s also a logistical challenge when it’s hard to get down low enough to sit in chairs, cars, duck into doorways, etc. I’m just curious if she might have Marfan syndrome? I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome with Marfan features. She seems healthy but it might not hurt to find out for sure if she has a genetic disorder. Wishing her all the best!

Find a style of pants you like, take pictures and go to a good seamstress. Or learn to sew. I learned to sew. It’s not as hard to learn to sew as one might think. Take care and good luck.
