She is simply saying untestable theories are not science.

I think these hypothesis are important to get ppl interested and motivated in science.
The problem is ppl write papers passing them off as scholarly work and taking attention away from real science

thank you Prof. Brian, for a nice promotion of Sabine, she´s marvellous.

She's such a stud at understanding that science is founded on empiricism and the rigorous discipline to be constantly on guard for the corruption of subjectivity.

I totally agree.Glad to hear someone of standing say it.

The trouble is that I am the only version of me that doesn't believe in the multiverse and the others are getting kind of angry with me.

Big fan of Sabine. A claim made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

I hate the multiverse idea. At least this version of it. Thanks Sabine!

Finally, someone with clout calls out the nonsense. Good one you Sabine 👏

A scientific hypothesis like "multiverse" is not "unscientific" simply because it is difficult to test, as long as you keep trying. It is only important to keep the distinction between hypothesis and fact.

Those who say that there are infinite universes are usually the same people who want 1/0=♾️. 🙄
Just because you want it, doesn't make it so‼️🤷

she's 100% correct here, these are concepts that we have no way to scientifically test, these are philosophical conversations, not scientific ones, and like sabine said, that is perfectly fine ; all science emerged from and started with philosophy to begin with, we should not forget our roots =]

come on, Sabine! 'Everything, Everywhere, at Once' totally makes sense!

Issue isn't the hypothesis but the infinite regression. Multiverse of universes, multi-multi and so on of multiverses

Good point. One correction, though, I have contacted entities in other universes but I can't release the details due to privacy concerns.

I am happy to entertain these beloved hypotheses of science--not just the Multiverse but let's be honest, String Theory and Dark Matter. They're on to something. But we definitely need Sabine calling them what they are.

This is exactly like theory of god and religions. Shes totally right.

She is the only one that keeps it real

I agree. Find evidence or it's not science.
