I have a 5.1 surround sound system without the player, a kevler with weird plugs which I already removed and stripped bare. I can't find them in the list of common audio plugs. Their individual wires are directly connected to each speaker. and instead of throwing them away, I'm planning to reuse the, but I couldn't find a cheaper way to connect them into just one 3.5mm jack in my pc. If it costs me a lot more than a decent pc speakers, I'm putting them back in the storage.

If I have a stereo receiver with passive speaker will it work using an optical cable as digital input instead of RCA cables? That should give you better sound if I have not read wrong.

I have a new PC on Windows 11 into which I was assuming I could plug my old Logitech surround sound speakers, which have the three RCA jacks going into the subwoofer. But on the new pc all there are for audio jacks are I/O and one speaker input. It does not have the surround sound ports that I had on old computers, and I cannot add an internal sound card with surround sound ports. Is there any way I can plug my surround sound speakers into my computer? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
