AT&T got breached and then raised my regular cell bill...I called and they said the small raise was for admin. fees...we can't win no matter what, but I'm glad it ended well for someone!!!

Mornin' Doug! I'm glad T-Mobile stepped up to the plate and made things right. Of course, knowing that would have been an unwinnable case had it gone to court, and that it would have absolutely trashed customer confidence if they didn't, might have had something to do with it. I'm guessing the person who set up the plan is getting some "retraining"! Have an amazing weekend!

Whether or not the man contacted T-Mobile or not the man should have received some kind of notification from T-mobile that something was going on and he was racking up roaming charges. Seems like junk customer service and if it wasn't for the lawyer and tv show he'd probably still be stuck with the bill.

OUCH that bill for T-Mobile I would have been TICKED, to say the least. I ALWAYS date and time stamp a Phone call with the carrier as well as their name. EVEN if it is on website chat. I request to have a copy of our conversation. At least I do with Verizon, not sure if other carries have that but if they do, I HIGHLY suggest you do the same. As WELL as before the end of the conversation, do a wrap up summary "So for clarification, is covered and I don't have to worry". It may sound overboard but trust me, that has saved my butt SO many times when I can reference exactly the information discussed AND can back it up.

Wow great topics, a bit different. If I forget to put cell on airplane mode as I enter ship, I receive reminder notice from cell company! When I off ship, to use text or call, I auto charged $10/dy. Nice low$. Hope Bronson gives me Free cruise, I want to try their ships. Tgif Doug.
