How to connect lan and wifi simultaneously

The wifi is not connectin when the lan connection is available

The following is a step by step process as to how you can use wireless internet without taking out your ethernet cable out.

1. Open Network and Sharing Centre.
2. Go to Change Adapter Settings.
3. Go to properties of Local Area Network.
4. Click on Internet Protocol version 4 and go to its properties.
5. Click on Advanced
6. You will see a block checked there by the name of "Automatic Metric".
7. Uncheck it and then enter 2 in that section.
8. Now, Do the same for the wireless network but enter 1.

Save the setting and you'll be able to use wifi even when your ethernet cable is connected to the LAN.

I have a 2.5 gbps internet connection but my PC motherboard only has a 1gbps lan port and I also have a PCI-express Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax and bluetooth 5.2 2in1 card, is it possible to aggregate the 2 wifi and lan speedsso I can achieve 2 or 2.5 gbps in total? thx

I want to ask
I have a problem with a stuff that like to connect 2 connection( connect with LAN&Wifi ).The problem is LAN connection are set up with proxy to use company website.
1.LAN connection is company server.
2.Wifi is not a company server, it is open for any stuff n no website block.
Can this method that you show can fix my problem?

bro i have a question if u leave the ethernet 1 and i have a wifi usb that i conect to my phone hotspot and if i make this usb 2 does that mean if my ethernet stops working i will automatically conect to my wifi hotspot and without removing the ethernet cable cuz everytime i need to conect to the wifi usb i need ro remove the ethernet cable

My lap top has it built in standard. My main PC had it but wi-fi seems to have died ! Finding the card now seems like I have to find old stock or a scraped PC !

I use a desktop with ethernet cable, but it also has wifi...If I do this can I use bluetooth on my desktop...say for chrome casting, etc.

Hi, I can connect to the wifi, and can connect to the lan, but i can't be connected to both of them simultaneously, in first moment that i connect to the lan the wifi going to disable mode. I tried that tip, didn't help. I running windows 10 on HP elite book 840. Any idea to fix it??
