Fried has had back to back amazing starts for the Braves, The Braves Bats Got Hot late in the 7th, another shoutout for Atlanta, Go Braves!!!

Good win, outstanding pitching. Only scored two runs but it was enough because of the outstanding performance from Max Fried. He has been on an absolute tear, and tonight 8 innings scoreless, he delivers when most needed and really has just been more than outstanding this year. Good work Iglesias as well. Even though offense scored only two, got it done. Ozuna homers again. Soon hopefully the offense can get hot but outstanding pitching tonight. Schwellenback making his mlb debut tomorrow, let’s go braves #ForTheA

I'm low-key furious with how this game went down. Can you imagine getting 10 strikeouts while allowing 0 runs in the best start of your career and still losing? If I were Jake Irvin I would be throwing hands in the clubhouse.

+ MAXIMUS FRIED WITH ANOTHER MASTERPIECE! 8 SHUTDOWN FRAMES, Allowing 7 Hits and 1 Walk, but Striking Out 8 en route to his 5th Win of the Season! Fried Improves to 5-2 with an ERA of 2.97!
+ IGLESIAS TOOK CARE OF THE REST! A PERFECT 9TH, which Included STRIKING OUT Former Brave, Eddie Rosario, ON 3 PITCHES, Totaling 2 Ks!
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, NO Runs, 7 Hits, 1 Walk, 8 Strike Outs, NO Home Runs Allowed!

Despite an 0-4 Night, and Leaving 4 Men on Base, The Braves got ALL the Scoring they needed in the 7th!
+ OF COURSE IT HAD TO BE THE BIG BEAR TO JUMP-START IT ALL! 1-4 with the GAME-DECISIVE SOLO SUPER MISSILE INTO THE LEFT-CENTER FIELD SEATS! Ozuna Stands in with a .309 Average, 1.004 OPS, and 16 Homers on the Season!
+ Not the Best Night for Kelenic, but he CONTRIBUTED WHEN IT MATTERED! 0-2 with a CRITICAL RBI Sacrifice Fly in the 7th! Kelenic holds onto a .254 Average with an OPS of .675!
- OTHER NOTABLES: Olson had a Good Night, Going 1-3 and Scoring the 2nd Run of the Game. Albies, Murphy, and Duvall were the ONLY other Braves to Record a Hit. Michael Harris II, Despite going 0-2, was Walked TWICE, while Albies Walked Once. Riley and Arcia each had 0'fer Nights, with Riley taking the BRUNT of it, going 0-4 with 3 Ks.

+ A NEEDED TEXTBOOK VICTORY FOR THE BRAVOS! Fried and Iglesias were FANTASTIC, The Defense was SOLID, and the Offense got ALL THE RUNS IT NEEDED IN THE 7TH! Not the Prettiest of Wins by ANY Definition, but one I'm MORE than happy to take!

I am being told that SPENCER SCHWELLENBACH will be CALLED UP from AA-MISSISSIPPI to make his MAJOR LEAGUE DEBUT, Taking Up Battle Stations for YOUR ATLANTA BRAVES!

Schwellenbach is the Braves #3 Prospect, Drafted in the 2nd Round of the 2021 MLB Draft Out of the University of Nebraska, Possesses a Mid-90's Fastball with a SAVAGE Slider that Averages in the Mid-80's, along with a Slower Curve that can be DEVASTATINGLY EFFECTIVE.

Initially, he was primarily a Hitter and Infielder during his College Years, but Took Up Pitching in 2021 and Won the John Olerud Award for Best Two-Way Player in College Ball, which convinced the Braves to give him a Chance and Draft Him, Despite having to undergo the Dreaded Tommy John Surgery just after signing.

I got to see him for a BRIEF Period in Single-A Augusta, where he went 4-2, but had a ERA of 2.63, Which Included an EXCELLENT Outing against the Charleston RiverDogs, where he SILENCED them for 6 Innings, Allowing just 4 Hits and 1 Walk while Striking out 4 on May 31st, 2023.

To See Him go from Single A to the Majors in JUST 2 Years is INCREDIBLE, and I'll be Rooting and Praying for his Success against the Nationals!
