Following Sir John's passing, the news broke that we'd also be losing the tremendous Twelfth Doctor this Christmas. And whilst I personally am not ready to see Mr Capaldi hang up the velvet coat and sonic glasses yet, one must respect the decision.

So I've opted to whip up a little BBC style Trailer to celebrate the rollercoaster that has been our beloved Doctor Number Twelve.

Number Thirteen may be coming, but first The Doctor and Nardole return to our screens Saturday April 15th. Prepare to meet Bill Potts!

Twelve is amazing, I absolutely love him. He's like he always was: childish, clever, sarcastic, rude, kind, sad, but with Capaldi we saw a whole new version. He is so sad und lived through so much, yet he's still learning and again hopeful enough to look forward. He's in so much pain, but channels it and spreads love everywhere. I absolutely love, I adore him and I'm so sad he's leaving already, there could have been a lot of great doctor who with Chibnail and this amazing Actor and Whovian.
Dear Peter, you'll be missed. A lot.

I wasn't sure about Peter Capaldi at first but WOW, what a Doctor and what an actor. Mysterious, dark, hilarious, sad, strong, intense, loving, caring, and so much more. I will miss the 12th Doctor immensely.
