the vines are probably used to get to an extra room, as you can see those vines were blocking a door, but idk this is all speculation

idea: the cuttable vines can count as a lap 2, where you have to run through 70 doors, but they are only the garden rooms, seek can spawn, rush is less frequent, and there are very dim lights, screech can still spawn (not in the seek chase) and they do flicker when rush arrives.
the reward can be 2 extra rift slots 1-2 revives and 5 times the knobs, the first extra rift slot is right along side the first rift, except in a different location like upstairs, and the second is having to beat lap 2 again at the end.
