Electrical tape comes in clear as well. That is what I use on floats and it allows you to see the entire stick for better visibility at distance.

Yes it does the blue one goes on that barber you have in your hand you got to force it on that's why it's going to split in it using for years just got done fishing catfish tonight and use them. The yellow one in your hand is for fishing poles the blue one is for floats

take the stick out of the bobber and push the glow stick in its place. if necessary put a bit of the tape around the bottom of the light to make it tight

I have had best luck with the clip on balsa wood and cut a piece of air hose like for fish tank and slide over the open end and the glow stick in that

just tape one to the top post or use a dab of super glue that you can easy break off after or heat shrink tubing or small rubber band

Here is the question. Can you buy any elsewhere that packs the same punch and last over 24 hours? You get what you pay for. And i can't find any that come close

i had the idea of making a bobber out of a styrofoam board specifically for the bigger glowsicks. Makes them float like a buoy. I'll upload the video soon.

The glow sticks made by that brand usually last me 2-3 days, I think it's the weather.

Been looking if there were any specific glow sticks for slip knot fishing at night and stumbled into your video. About to head to ebay to see if I find your vendor. Thank you.

Why use black electrical tape instead of simply using clear tape on your rod tip? Clear packing strip or even 3/4” wide scotch tape works perfectly for me for years and it’s MUCH cheaper to buy in bulk boxes of 50 up to 500 for less than 5 cents per stick. Even though your newer method is cheaper than your old method, but you’re still paying way too much for glow sticks. And the majority of the glow sticks I’m mentioning have a decent glow all night, not use four per rod per night. Bett’s is the best brand if you can find them for glow stick bobbers. They come in both cigar and ball shapes. The only issue with the Bett’s brand is the hole for the glow stick is proprietary in size, BUT a simple bit of using a sharp drill our even a thin bladed sharp pair of scissors work perfectly to adjust the glow stick hole opening bigger so anyone can buy the least expensive ‘party glow sticks’ in a 1” to 1.5” sizes. If you do not use fishing when searching online or in a store, you’ll find exactly what you need for small glow sticks easily used for fishing. Also, it would be much better to use a drill to bore 1 or 2 holes about 1/4” deep and to the width about 1/64th of an inch narrower than the glow stick so it will stay in without using any tape. I’ve done all this and if anyone needs more answers than I’ve given here on this topic, just ask me. Best wishes.
