So far I'm an hour and 15 minutes in and the first one i cracked and i honestly can't tell a difference in brightness from the one my son cracked 15 minutes ago

I bought 100 of those exact same glow sticks from Wish for only 8 euros (9 USD, shipping of 4.5 USD to Western Europe included). Tested them out and they are just perfect. Snapped a few at 2 PM to test them out, and at 6;42 AM they were still glowing more than plenty enough to attract fish during night fishing. They are the exact same product as the ones we can buy in our local fishing gear stores. With the difference that here in our local fishing gear stores you pay 0, 95 cents to 1, 25 euro and even up to 2 euros for one of those packages. Ridiculous!

For your information: inside the package is a small piece of clear tubing to attach to your rod (and a red cap but you won't need it). Open two packs and you'll have two of those. Use some electrical tape to attach them to the tip of your rod and slide a glow stick in between. Done. When the glow stick has stopped working, just replace it with a new one and you're good to go again for several hours.

I just got 50 of the same cheap ones you got for $5CAD from amazon. They are rated for 30mins glow and the ones I was shipped expired in October 2020 but the one I cracked yesterday at 7:30pm is still going well enough to work in clear water at 5:30pm tonight. Cheap online ones work more than well enough for average use.

If you want to keep the holders from the more expensive Walmart pack and still use them, drill the hole out slightly bigger and now you won't have to keep buying zipties.

No need to cut zip ties, leave on so next time just slip new glow light back on!!!just another saving.

What if you put those old holders in boiling water? will it fit then?
PS do they last as long as the Walmart? Little suckers will still sometimes be glowing days after I cracked em!

The reason they cost so much cause they pack a punch and ladt over 24 hours. Can you buy them online cheap that pack the same punch and last as long? Thats the question. I want to see my bobber well and all night long. Let me know. Thanks

By the way. Those glow sticks are horrible. You get what you pay for. I got them they dont last long and not even half as powerful
