this guide is useful, However，be sure to choose the right generation(generation 1 for MBR, generation 2 for UEFI) when creating virtual machine depends on MBR or UEFI type, or It may cause boot failure.

So If I create a MacOs vm in virtual box, then convert the vm to vhdx, I should be able to run a apple mac os vm in hyper-v.

Can I clone a XP OS ( from another computer ) and put it in a Virtual
Box? ( I have an old XP system with all my files and the MOBO died, can I
clone my old XP HDD and put it in Virtual Box? Another question: I have
a XP OS on Microsoft Virtual PC thumb drive but it will only run when
it is a fresh install. ( the only way I can use it is if I dump it and
reinstall it ). How do I use it without reinstalling each time? Also
when I run MS VPC it will not add a printer/hardware. I have herd the
Virtual Box adds hardware easy. Can I put my Microsoft Virtual PC XP OS
into Virtual Box? Thank you

Hi NLB Solutions, I was able to convert VM ware to HyperV format. The guest OS booted but I see only a black screen after that. How can I get VM ware virtual machine configurations also converted to HyperV format? My VMware package also contains some machine configurations in addition to the vmdk file.
