As a trusted user at 3k hours I still mostly prefer private instances with friend groups in lesser known worlds vs the popular world public instance experience

I was first to VRC and I told a group chat I was heading to play in Black cat for the first time and I swear it was a scene of breaking bad with them screaming for me to stop or run away, and I didn’t check the notifs as I began walking around there.

But yeah it’s like very horrible i learned

I dead ass cannot go into most public worlds because A. I have social anxiety and B. Because I’m really bad at entering myself into conversations
(Definitely not just joining warhammer groups on top of this)

this is accurate af because when I first joined VRC, the first world I joined was the black Cat, and as soon as I joined, someone looked at me and said, "KYS, " and thats what got me hooked to VRC, other than my friends

there's like a 5% chance that your experience in the black cat is good. i met some amazing friends there. as a trusted with 4k hours on vrchat (since 2020), i personally love joining friends in public murder 4 lobbies or otherwise exploring (always friends+) beautiful worlds with friends and revisiting them, for the sake of nostalgia. even my homeworld is set to friends+ since that is an actual option in your settings :) i also always have myself on green cuz i got nothing to hide nor do i care who joins me :D hope this helps a little for the new kids!

can proudly say as a player with 630 hours in the game, once i hit trusted i set my home world as the black cat, got my pc and used quest link for the first time and set it to the great pug
