Upwork is CRAZY competitive, so it took some time for me to break in as a video editing freelancer.

I am literally a beginner on upwork.i tried to get my feet wet but eve. After apply on 4-5 jobs, I didn't get a single reply.i know it's not going to be easy and I will try to improve the quality of my work and lower the prices.Thanks for sharing your experience!! The competition for CAD drafters is extremely high too. I got my first job last week after two months of sending out proposals. I had to drop my rate from $30/hr to $9 to land this job. The work is challenging and it gets my foot in the door for future work if I can score a great review. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices and this beats the hell out of driving 35 minutes one way each morning to sit in a cubicle and do the same job. Don’t give up, but think out of the box if your prospects are stalled and keep moving.

Yeah I logged on upwork for the first time ..but I didn't have any Idea of how to not get scammed. I literally applied to jobs that required 2 conents and of course didn't got a reply. But now I of course am out of conents lol but your guide have helped me a lot I will prolly do better next time
