Richard Tice criticises the Chancellor's Spring Statement and calls Rishi Sunak "totally out of touch".

"Get a grip man! If you want to grow an economy you have to cut taxes. He has done absolutely nothing to address the energy crisis."

Rishi Sunak has been branded “Mr Tax” by Labour as they accused him of “acting in his own interest” rather than those of Britons.

Shadow work and pensions secretary Jon Ashworth gave the nickname to Mr Sunak while warning that pensioners have been “cutting back on hot meals” and “forgoing hot showers” as they cannot afford the cost.

Why do you think a billionaire would give a damn about the normal people's problems? As an ex-Conservative I am now all for a French style revolution...we have a one party state of pathetic useless politicians. It's time to wheel out Madam Guillotine! Then they might listen.

Boris Johson's whole cabinet is out of touch. Lis Truss is a war hawk, I'm disgusted with the lot of them.

Less money in people's pockets equals less revenue for pubs and companies providing activities for leisure, which, in turn, means reduced growth in the economy. Why cannot politicians understand that basic fact?

Real economists said cut income tax to grow the economy .... Sunak hasn't a clue.

What would a millionaire have in touch with a poor working class person there’s a very quick answer to that 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Why would we expect him to be in touch? There are very few who are, and those few are labelled 'troublemakers' and you'll never see them get a Cabinet position.

The amount of foreign aid the government send overseas maybe we pay too much tax.

Very easy to be out of touch when your personal fortune means the price of a loaf, for example, going up 20p overnight means nothing

Isn't vat a tax isn't the BBC license a tax isn't it a wonder why people are struggling. If you can't live from your wages and you still need money from the government surely something is wrong when I had my 2 kids I had family allowance I believe it was like 17 pounds for the eldest and less for the second
That was it let's look at today most people outside London have about 300 pounds a week or just over for 40 hours. Take out rent mortgage council tax gas electric water rates petrol or bus fare what's the point in having 3 percent pay rise if inflation is going up 8 percent. Ok I know about the virus I know about the war in Ukraine
But inflation didn't go up 8 percent during the Iraq war or Afghanistan war petrol had risen but that always does when another country is invaded so why now we'll I know the answer it's because we was in the EU and couldn't run our own country. It was because our governments over the past years sold everything from steel to trains Maggie thatcher closed the mines to crush the unions that's how we was so reliant on Russia gas and oil
Now it's biting the poor and now onto something else the government was paying 5 million a day for the invasion from France but obviously that's gone up with inflation
And that's going to increase this year with more entering illegally across the chanel. I heard yesterday that Boris have said no to fracking
Even if and when they drill for oil it want make it cheaper for the poor all it does is stop buying from Russia
Wippy woo ain't that great we have been told for many years you can't trust Russia or china because they are a threat are serious so why buy oil and gas from them why did they allow Russia and china buy houses and buy companies in the UK knowing they are a threat to our country a virus from china and what did china do before letting the world know they bought all the PPE
Facemask and see so on it's been incompetent governments and greed. That's got us in this mess
