A few years ago, we spoke with Chaplain Jim Carter, a former seminary student of Dr. Sproul’s and a longtime friend of Ligonier, about how essential it is for the military to be well supplied and spiritually fed with the Word of God.

This has power and has substance. This content is unique for Ligonier. To see the ministry going beyond church and study rooms, Ligonier ministries yet again exemplify the need for missions and para-church discipleship. Love to see what happens next!

Loved my Chaplain I was a lost Marine but I would go and attend his services just because I like the man and he showed that he really cared for us. I was raised Baptist he was a Presbyterian and I thought it weird that he didn't shout or walk around when he preached LOL!! PS> What really impressed us Marines was that he was a Marine doorgunner in Vietnam.

I was a chaplains assistant in the army, and those chaplains that were serious about their faith, we’re always a welcome sight.

Thank You much for all of you who have served and are serving us Americans. Since I was little I was taught to honor, respect, PRAY and thank God for Our Military Soldiers. Thank You just doesn't seem good enough for what they all have done and are doing.

Thanks you for the video. What is one way we can help troops hear the message of Jesus?
I have heard of ways like funding for bibles and also writing letters. I can’t understand what it feels like to be on the front lines in a foreign country without your family. They need our help

EEEeerrriiie...that same topic, bringing Gospel to the front lines has been on my mind for two days, extra heavily...Jehovah must be wanting me to address the topic. I think the restricted areas are going to de-strict...I think the Ligonier can storm N. Korea and Laos and Cambodia and Thailand and...without impediment. As 'pharaoh' of Asia Minor...it stands to reason I can ask Our Father to send the "troops" in as we broach the reality the Word will be distributed all over the world, can anyone agree? What runs faster than a cheetah? That little ferret...Justin Peters. I think he is about to have the largest ministry on the planet...and even a cheetah knows better than to get sprayed by a 'littering ferret, " yah?
