In this edition of kitchen thrift finds, I'm testing out my new to me Original Garlic Baker which produced the most perfect roasted garlic ever!

you don’t soak clay cookware for the steam, it stops the clay from cracking

I have trauma from one of those garlic roasters. My grandma didn't tell me she just pulled it out the oven and I went to play with it cause funny garlic shaped handle.

I have a clay pot similar to this and use it to bake bread. Mines is a romertopf. I’ll have to use it to make roasted garlic soon!

That's sorta like a römertopf. You need to soak it pre placing in the oven so it doesn't crack during cooking.
